NCAA Basketball Leagues Opening Next Week
We have a new ownership group at FPS! We want to thank Kevin, Bill & Frank for creating a great site to help organize and administer so many great years of post-season excitement in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and NCAA!
As you'd probably expect, the new owners are sports enthusiasts and long time users of Fantasy Postseason - we are excited to maintain and grow what the founders created! The next few months will be focused on maintaining the site as-is and in the future we plan to take on some new ideas. If you have any ideas or suggestions for improvements, upgrades or fixes please email us at admin@fantasypostseason.com - we look forward to serving you and continuing this great community!
But first ... we've got the NFL playoffs to get ready for in a few short weeks! Stay tuned for that announcement to start your leagues
After the NBA postseason concludes, the management team of Frank, Bill, and Kevin will be moving on. We appreciate your support over the last 15 years and hope that our service made the playoffs more entertaining.
We've opened up registration for the NBA playoffs! The playoffs start on April 15th and like last year, the play-in games do not count towards scoring.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to support the NHL playoffs this upcoming postseason. Our deepest apologies to our hockey users on the site.

Please always include your 5 digit league ID when contacting support - it will make your life easier (and ours). The 5 digit ID can be found at the end of your league's URL, or can be found at the top of Settings / View League Settings. Thank you!
Our recommendation is to always activate an offline league before the first game's schedued start time. If a commissioner attempts to activate a league after the first game's scheduled start time, they are prompted once to apply retro scoring which will apply scores to games that have already started. If the prompt is declined, there is also an option on the Admin menu after activation (that should only be used one time).
Please note that we made 'Full Lineup Required' the default this year in salary cap leagues (as this was requested by the majority of our leagues).
If you wish to turn that off, please email us and we will make the change (sorry, this is one of the few options that only we can make).
Our annual playoff fantasy football contest is now accepting entries. It's entirely free to play and there are prizes. The game is simple and fun. Choose a different starting lineup for each week of the NFL playoffs. The catch is that you can only start a given player one time during the entire postseason. See here for further details:

This year we added a new setting to salary cap leagues that requires managers to pick a new lineup each week based on updated salaries. Our system pushed out new salaries as soon as the round ended without factoring in new projections associated with some outlier performances by players such as Jerick McKinnon, Giovani Bernard, and Byron Pringle. Commissioners have the ability to make salary adjustments via 'Modify Salaries' on the 'Admin' page or can contact us at admin@fantasypostseason.com with your 5 digit league ID and we'll refresh the salaries in your league.
At Fantasy Postseason, we do not natively support playoff survivor pools. That is, if a commish wants to eliminate fantasy teams, they will need to determine which teams to eliminate and then eliminate those fantasy teams manually. There are a few ways to accomplish this:
(1) Remove Eliminated Teams From League
The commissioner can remove fantasy teams from the league via the 'Owner Management' page (accessed via the 'Admin' tab on the league home page). Removed teams will no longer be able to access the league.
(2) Prevent Teams from Accumulating Further Scores
The commissioner can drop the entire roster of a fantasy team via the 'Roster Management' page (on the 'Admin' tab). Empty rosters will not score additional fantasy points. Note that in a league that allows free agency (or additional player pick ups) the commissioner will need to take additional action to prevent eliminated managers from adding...

We've added a new 'Menu Pinning' option under 'Edit My Fantasy Leagues List' (which is found on the User Profile page in the Account Management section). This allows for the option to show or hide leagues in the drop-down under the user name in the top right. Note that the default behavior is to show your 3 most recent fantasy leagues. With this new feature, you can decide what leagues are made available for quick drop-down access. This is useful if you belong to several fantasy leagues.
A few years ago we discontinued support of our iOS mobile app and focused on building a responsive UI that works well across all different platforms. While this decision has allowed us to consolidate our engineering focus and speed up the delivery of features, we do recognize that an extra step is required to access Fantasy Postseason via a mobile browser. However, there is indeed a way to add Fantasy Posteason to your mobile device home page, saving you a step. Check out the following instructions based on your particular mobile device:
Note that if you want direct access to a particular league for easy access to check scores, etc, we suggest short-cutting your postseason fantasy league's home page to the home page of your mobile device. That way, when you click on the FP icon, you'll be sent directly to your fantasy league's home page.
We've opened up registration for our 2021-22 playoff fantasy football leagues! Drafts begin on January 10th.
Use offer code NFL_EARLY_2021 by 12/8 to get 15% off league costs.
If you are a returning user, be sure to check out the updates we've made to the site.
With the NFL adding a Monday night playoff game, we are pushing back the waiver time for 'Per Round' leagues from Wednesdays at 8 AM eastern to 8 PM eastern. This will allow for 12 more hours of decision making after the Monday game, and allow time to scout the Wednesday injury reports. We plan to make this a permanent switch.
